For some reason I started thinking about using a Sax for the baseline in a piece and started looking on youtube.

I found this rather interesting Beatles cover.

Thanks for the gun club post mayfair. I always loved them but their first album is the only one I have ever owned. I guess I need to fix that.

Newbroom that is an interesting version of heater skelter to say the least. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

I've been on a classic kick lately...... Rolling Stones "Gimme Shelter", Traffic "Dear Mr Fantasy", James Taylor "Fire and Rain", and Cat Stevens "Peace Train" seem to find their way on to my playlists regularly.

As a general rule I'm NOT a fan of techno, but I'm a HUGE fan of Underworld. DUBNOBASSWITHMYHEADMAN is one my all time favs of any genre. It cuts right through and it's one of the few that I listen to loud.

Hey Nate the only stuff I am familiar with that has to do with Underworld is the track on the Trainspotting soundtrack and the album the Karl Hyde made with Brian Eno. Those two things plus your recommendation are enough to make me dig further. And I thank you for that.

John, that was my first exposure as well! Born Slippy is an anthem. If you like that you'll likely enjoy their other stuff. Let me know what you think! Check their live performance of Born Slippy!

The Nile song is excellent Mayfair. I listened to the "More Soundtrack" last week on vinyl. Pre - dark side of the moon is my favorite period in pink Floyds music. Followed closely by dark side and post - dark side!!!
