I love the small STG ribbon cutting. Packs, lights, and smokes like a dream. Other than that it depends on the brand. For GH I like fold and stuff.

Cig..... A rib steak has the bone with it. A rib eye is with out the bone. I hate the way the industry changes the definitions.End of Rant.
I do like the flakes that can be folded and stuffed.

Well, since we're going there, I rarely eat beef but when I do it's gotta be a rib eye. So delicious!

I don't pick blends based on cuts. Current favorites being smoked are ribbon cut. But I find flakes and coins to generally be more intense in flavor than ribbon cut. They also smoke longer, albeit harder to get lit.

I am almost exclusively flake/plug now. I have older blends in the cellar but going forward I will only buy flakes or similar. One exception is Esoterica Dunbar.

Hairy Cut? A buddy sent me some hairy C & D a couple of years ago. It had some French name. I got the biggest buzz from that stuff! I’m going to go on a search and see if that stuff is still around. I guess my review of it would be “very interesting”.
But normal day operations...I’m a flake and cake dude.

Maybe it wasn’t C & D. I can vaguely remember his handwriting saying something like, “Le Pepit...then a bunch more long words”. It literally looked like a bag of hair and obviously smoked super fast.

Flake / plug because it’s traditional
and it ages well
and it looks nice

That Petit Robin reminds me of the shag cut cigarette tobacco that Stokkebye makes. Though I think it's meant to be mixed with cigarette tobacco. It's actually pretty good in a pipe or cig. I'm glad I didn't buy ryo supplies because I just quit smoking cigs a few days ago. Smoking cigs and a pipe is deadly for the throat I think.

I'm just happy to be smoking! Probably plug, though flake has much better availabilities. Kake to me makes the least sense.
