I paint pictures for a living. These days I work at Warner Brothers Animation, painting Background Paintings on Be Cool Scoobie-Doo, which will be airing this autumn. There are a few smoking zones around the Ranch property. Otherwise it's a no-no. But the security guards so like the scent of my pipe that they never hassle me if I happen to take a short stroll off the reservation while having a puff.

Retired and yes back then I could smoke my pipe on the Job.

But some of my old work bubby's say that is no more. I worked for the State of Delaware as a Plumber for 38 years. :puffy:

Currently serving in the US Marines. I'm an aircraft mechanic on AH-1W and UH-1N attack helicopters. Been doing it for just over 11 years now, looking forward to retiring to become a high school/college instructor in US History. I can't smoke while working on the aircraft, but Now that I'm in more of a managerial role, I have more time to smoke and do at least one pipe a day. Only downfall is due to constant deployments, I never bring my good pipes. I have a few nice ones waiting on me at home as well as some quality tobaccos, but right now I'm smoking a Medico Dublin style with the last of some Capt. Black dark... Making do with what I've got where I am.

I process claims at a medium size RV dealership. Very boring but the schedule is what I want and the pay is good. My favorite job was a flight line crew manager for a FBO operation with private and DOD ratings, pay sucked though.

Mortgage underwriter. I decide yes or no, if someone can refi their house. People go outside the building to stand in snow to smoke cigarettes. I just wait until it is warm. Never smoked at work, but most around me know that I smoke a pipe occasionally.

Repentant former ambulance chaser. Can't wait to retire in about 6 years. Got my teaching credential about 10 years ago and hope to close things out teaching for a few years before I retire. Want to quit practicing law ASAP. Over 30 years as a lawyer is more than enough for me. Best jobs I had, and enjoyed, were in construction. Iron Workers Union and running a paving/hard-scape company. I can smoke anytime I want outside the office/buildings.

I am a mold maker/cnc operator at a large facility in southwestern Ontario. Provincial law prohibits smoking anywhere indoors in Ontario. I will smoke my pipe on my breaks and lunch outdoors when the weather is nice enough....please hurry spring! Right now I am on midnights from 7pm to 7am and after 4am I am the only one here so let's just say the smoking laws get a little more relaxed shortly after 4am. :puffy:

I'm a geologist working for an oil and gas company.
Very cool, kanada! I had two uncles who were geologists. One went into Academia becoming head of the Department of Geology at Caltech and he also taught astronauts how to gather samples on the moon for study. The other uncle went into the business of oil exploration for a major oil company. Then he decided that he would do better to develop his own finds rather than enrich a bunch of bozos, went into wildcatting and founded his own oil company. He was right.

My 9-5 job is a real estate lawyer in "smoke free" Illinois, so no smoking in the office; but I do smoke a pipe in my car on the way to closings and court.
My other early morning and weekend (unpaid) job is a pipe show director, and I smoke constantly in my home office. So everything I do for the Chicago Pipe Show is done while smoking a pipe.
