Just finished smoking 2021 Watch City Simply Orange in a 1978 BBB straight smooth brown Silver Mounted 522 pot with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. It’ll be released in early May as it’s being given some age time. This is the first small batch test version, which will be the same as the final release.

My family: my wife, daughter, son-in-law, grandson, granddaughter and my sister, took me out for a birthday dinner (76!), to a local Greek restaurant, the Psistaria.
Great food and family warmth and love.
When I got home, I fired up a bowl of McClelland's Samovar in my Peterson Sherlock Holmes Original. I set it in the Peterson Sherlock Holmes pipe rest, a wonderful gift from LatakiaDave. Again, thank you, my friend Dave.
To complement my smoke, I had a few drams of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel-Barrel Proof (67.5% ABV).

Almost half way through this bowl of year 2018 Solani 633 in a 1954 patent Dunhill 148 Group 3 black shell bulldog made for the France market with a black saddle vulcanite stem.

Trying something new, cube cut a couple broken flakes of capstan blue. Seems to change the burn rate, but not noticing it get too hot. Flavorwise, not much different than rubbing it out.
