Ah that makes sense. I’ve seen a number of guys smoke with a gap. Is there a reason for doing that?
Hmmm, some may or may NOT do it for aesthetic reasons, but I really hadn't noticed that I had smoked it like that until this morning when I saw your question and looked at the pic I posted. I think I maybe I have gotten to the place where I have learned (imagine that) what allows each pipe to be smoked at its best. I am not one of those who hate the way the Peterson wear gap looks. I have seen numerous posts about how some absolutely despise it. I don't & now only smoke Petersons, so perhaps I 'subconsciously' fine tune each of my pipes as it is smoked. Hmmm, maybe ...:col: or maybe not.😵‍💫 be well...puffy

Decided to have a tribute to the late actor, Mark Margolis. I first became aware of him as the character, Jimmy, from the TV show, The Equalizer in the mid-’80s (I didn’t see Scarface until later). I would sometimes see him in passing on the street in Tribeca on my lunch hour and wave hello. Having Cornell & Diehl Small Batch Steamworks (4,055/8,000) in an Oguz Simsek Don Hector Salamanca/Mark Margolis (as depicted in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul) Figural.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of early 2000s Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
