Mix of Carter Hall and University Flake in a new-to-me estate 4103 Chestnut I picked up this weekend. The rim is a tad damaged but the price was so attractive I couldn’t resist.

Usually I don't want any English stuff (read "anything with Latakia or Turkish/Izmir until Autumn--late Oct around here often). Been smoking mostly Va's and Burleys on the side this summer and spring. So this is a fun change but odd for me.

Did a set of walking reps in this awful heat and humidity, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Plenty of ice water and bergs is my drink.
Lane 1-Q in the Vauen Olaf bent egg with 9mm charcoal filter in a lawn chair in the shade with cool breeze.

Evening smoke with some Watch City Persian Slipper in a MM Night Rider Washington. I plan to smoke various blends from this pipe until I get some Sleepy Hollow. Then this pipe will be dedicated to that blend only.

Now smoking Watch City Beta Test VaBur Final Version in a dark brown medium bend grain etched 1970s Preben Holm Ben Wade Prominence B freehand with a black vulcanite stem.

Good day all! Started with KBV Van Gogh in a small Upshall sandblast Dublin with smooth rim and eighth-bent tapered stem size 3-4. Afternoon bowl of Carter Hall in an Upshall A Freehand with plateau rim and stem port with churchwarden stem.
After some strip steaks, potato, and brussel sprouts, dessert is SPC Mississippi River in the Rossi Poker 
A second evening smoke with some LJ Peretti Tashkent in a Rossi Piccolo.
