My awesome son pulled the trigger many times and won these for his old pop! He is stationed at Dover Air Force Base and sent me the email containing the pipe facts after he called me last Sunday

Oh gheesh papipeguy! Now that sounds like last year when I got Duct Tape.
All the info I can dig up are on a couple pipes.
Kemperling - Austria made pipes. http://www.kemperling.com/ For over 160 years the Austrian company Kemperling has been manufacturing tobacco pipes and wood carvings.
HEIBE - Heibe is a German brand of pipe made by pipe maker Erich Heikaus.
HHB - Another German Pipe Maker.
