Anyone else tried this? I bought some tobacco that was way too damp for my liking, so I dropped a big pinch on some foil and held it a few inches over a hot burner. After stirring it up a few times and letting it steam, I set it on the counter to cool, came out a measure drier and ready to smoke. Not sure if I messed with the flavor, but hey, I enjoyed it.

I normally use a paper towel and place in the microwave for 8 or more seconds, however with the wood stove going, I put the desired amount in a tin and place the tin on the wood stove for a short while.
If you start to smell tobacco, you've left it on to long. :D
