Some people learn chip technology from no familiarity to competence even beginning in mid-life or older. But as is often noted, kids who grew up with it reach a rapid sense of how chips "think" and as a group become more adept more easily, as kids learn languages with more facility. Other people who have had a bad introduction to this whole world at a later age, and are not of a sympatico mindset may always feel some abrasion and frustration with the binary operating systems that propel much of our world.
