I was reading about some of the more recently discovered security flaws within main processors/caches and their programming. It sounded pretty bad.

Some people learn chip technology from no familiarity to competence even beginning in mid-life or older. But as is often noted, kids who grew up with it reach a rapid sense of how chips "think" and as a group become more adept more easily, as kids learn languages with more facility. If you nibble at the subject and find yourself delighted in solving the puzzles and challenges of programs, devices, and apps, and if you soon love your smart phone, eureka. Other people who have had a bad introduction to this whole world at a later age, and are not of a sympatico mindset may always feel some abrasion and frustration with the binary operating systems that propel much of our world. 'Hope you are one of the lucky ones who can master the chip and make it do your bidding without getting sucked into the vortex of staring at screens and losing touch with the world as we knew it.
