I have a troost delft pipe i bought in the 1970's and have not smoked it in years. How do I clean the bowl?

I don't have a setup to take photos. The Pipe is porcelain. I probably will try to wash the bowl in warm soapy water.

That sounds the perfect first approach art.
Speaking strictly from my hip pocket, I'd think alcohol and a stiff brush of some sorts could be used if the bowl is heavily stained or caked.

In as much as porcelain is not porous like a clay the only thing to be cautious of would be decorative paintings that may have been applied after the thing was fired.
