How do you restore the white in the logo? Is it as simple as painting it and sanding over it carefully or is there a more mystical approach.

Holy Smokes! Those are beautiful. Why they stained that Brebia red is beyond me. I'm willing to bet even new, your stain would have made it much nicer. Beautiful pipe. Beautiful pipes all around. Even the calabash. I think the darkness in it adds a bit of character. It seems to say... "I'm old, well used, thought dead, but brought back to life." I love it. Honestly. :D

First class job. I like the natural finish also. Shows the true beauty of the briar.

What is there to restoring a pipe. Is it not just cleaning the bowl out and polishing the stem and outside of the bowl
