Good article. Reminds me that my best smoking sessions are usually when I stop focusing on getting things right, funny enough.

I, too, am into my codger years and have been smoking a pipe probably about as long as the author. But, for me, I do not strive to sip a pipe. I agree with you Yuda that smoking shouldn't be about "getting things right," but rather forgetting technique altogether and enjoying one's smoke without a lot of brain strain in the process. :wink:
