Hard to narrow it down. Coffee, smelling the 2 year old's head, hamming it up with my older boy, and obviously that last bowl of the day when the house is quiet and my wife and I can actually have grown up conversation.

My grand daughter asked me recently if I was rich. I said, "yes sweetheart, I'm the richest man in the world." Her eyes got big and she said, "really?"

I said, "Grandma and I have been married for 43 years and I have auntie Ruth, auntie Bonnie and uncle Paul and you and Teron and Aiden and Blake and Riley. I'm the richest man in the world."

The day isn't done until I visit the Grandparents across the way, give my little dog Sam his nightime huggums, and smoke in the darkness on the porch and look at the sky, listen to the whipporwills sing.
