Stem is Loose

I have a brand new pipe that after about 2 smokes, the stem is now just loosely connected to the bowl. If I even barely handle the pipe the stem will slip out. How can I fix this ? Thanks

I guess it's that the stem is loose from the.shank ? Is the shank thenpart that comes from then bowl to the stem ?

Beeswax on the tenon may do it.

But what's the pipe? Photos? How long have you had it?

We need to know what kind if pipe you are using. Meerschaum or briar or another.

It is a brand new Briar. I did leave it in my car in the cold, now that it's much warmer here it has mostly resolved itself. Thanks so much for the insight, I'll reopen the thread if needed.
