Silver posted a few pics of some recent Hawkbills she made and they looked absolutely AMAZING, so when this popped up on SmokingPipes I didn’t hesitate to buy it. Can’t wait to get it and have the first bowl in it!

Just checked tracking, it's supposed to be in my mailbox on Monday. I'll take some pictures of it and probably do a bit of a brief review once I've been able to have a bowl or two.

That is awesome. I met her in Chicago a few years back. She is pretty skilled, which is not surprising given her instructor.

I met her last West Coast Pipe Show, hung out with her Brad Pohlman, Jerry Crawford, and Brian Levine for some hours Friday before the show. Really awesome lady. Like you said, makes an exceptional pipe. I remember her drilling was consistently spot on, the fit and finish was phenomenal. Excited to add this pipe she made to my collection.

It's not my type of pipe, but she was trained by one of the best so I imagine her pipes must be well crafted. I do like the blending of shapes with the hawkbill and fig shapes, very creative, and I've not seen one quite like it. I hope it brings you many great smokes. :puffpipe:

I never thought I would see a hawkbill type I would find even the slightest bit aesthetically pleasing. This one has something though.

Like the Oom Paul the Hawkbill tends to be far larger than I care to smoke but have been fortunate in finding smaller versions of each which satisfy me a great deal. Her pipes are quite elegant and with the right timing I may yet add one to the fold, enjoy yours, it’s a stunner.

A Cumberland stem, and extreme curve should make clenching a joy. Nice ring blast for tactile exploration and a nice deep chamber for a long smoke. Looks like a winner to me. Very nice piece. I've had my eye on her work for a while now, and she never fails to impress.

Had the first bowl tonight while watching the live feed of Country Squire Radio. It was a great go. Packed the bowl a bit too tightly with some Capstan Blue Ready Rub. After a bit of work I loosened the tobacco up and from then on it smoked like a dream. Effortless draw. Passes a cleaner to the bowl no problem. Very well balanced, clenched effortlessly. Very very happy with this pipe! I’d HIGHLY recommend a Silver Gray pipe to any collector.
