Peck,

I will be joining you in owning a Castello 55 Fiammata Grade with stone cluster adornment as a gift to myself on February 24th.

Wow, banjo, that is sensational! I have two 55s, one a 3K smooth finish -- it was my first Castello and my second briar pipe; the second is a shape 55 Perla Nerla -- it means business!

I wouldn't trade a body part for a Shape 55, but I would be flexible.I see a number of other makers copying the shape, but they're never quite right.

Gorgeous pipes. Fine smokers. Second the OP, very good flake pipes. I have two. Not my favorite shape, but truly iconic.

Well the Castello arrived and I expected it to be a Castello Fiamatta 55 with crushed rock adornment but it's a Castello Collection Fiamatta K grade with stone adornment 55, a higher grade than I expected, what a treat!
