That's a beaut. I love bamboo shanks. They look cool. They are incredible light, yet also strong. And a bamboo shank really does make a pipe smoke cool.

So is strawberry describing the shape of the bowl or is there a woody strawberry bush out there?

There is a Strawberry Tree out there, Arbutus unedo , which is related more to cranberries and blueberries but it has nothing to do with strawberry fruit to my knowledge (Fragaria ananassa). It does has red fruit with the seeds on the outside though.....and beautiful uses for pipes.

Yes, it is the bowl shape, I was tired after a day in the deer woods that I typed wood rather than bowl, the interior shows the grain it is not blasted, thanks all.
