The Rothman's with Sasieni Patent

http://pipesmagazine.com/forums/topic/rothmans-pipe-with-sasieni-patent-number
I have bought and sold a number of pipes to get here and am now ready to devote some time to these few. They are all in rough and ready condition as I was on a budget and my pipes have a relatively hard life. To my shame I have only recently discovered what a really clean estate is like, before this I had been doing a poor job of cleaning the shanks and this has made a huge difference. I generally only polish the portion of the stem that goes in my mouth.
I realise I now need the right Charatan, GBD and Comoy oh and maybe an Ashton, possibly a BBB and also a true Sasieni.

Old Brit wood is hard to beat! My favorites are Comoy's and Sasieni pipes. Looking forward to seeing your future acquisitions!

You have done a discerning job of selecting pipes to work up as a group, and you haven't buried yourself in too many pipes, so I think you'll learn a lot bringing these up to standard. Keep us posted. Some of the pipe restorers here can be tremendous help. I'm always amazed at how they take a scaggy unappetizing stem and make it new again.

Bigpond more shagrin. Their next owner can do the buffing i'm doing the puffing. I have been watching George D's videos but am not quite there yet.

Thanks for all the kind words i am skint now but keeping my eyes open for the next thing. Despite the moulded stem the Tilshead is really nice to smoke. The Bite area of the Loewe is to say the least sturdy and I favour the most delicate stems possible.
