How well do tins age or is jarring recommended?

If I break the seal on a tin, it goes into a jar. I don't want to loose a bit of flavor. But that is just me.

Aging in tins for a few years is great, but of you wanna pop a tin open and smoke some put them in jars. good selection btw, those Virginia's will age nicely

Haha...just added 2 tins of MacB HH Old Dark Fired.....this has got to stop.
