Query on Aromatics Tasting or Smelling Bad

Perhaps try ordering it next from a different vendor, if still smells bad then you’ll know for sure.
I’m actually having a same experience with a lane product. My last order from p and c, the leaf smelled completely different like it had gone bad. I have a bit coming from SP so I’ll see what happens!

So it isn’t just us. I found a jar of old Lane 1Q under the back seat of my truck 2 days ago. I opened the jar, and the aroma was as pleasant as I remembered. I opened my jar of the newer stuff, and the smell was weak by comparison. I smoked a bowl of the old Lane 1Q, and it was the best smoke I’ve had in almost 2 years. The smell and the flavor were even better than I remembered, and there was no burnt or tar taste. I tried the newer tobacco an hour or so later and again the next day, and there is no doubt that it isn’t near as good. I only have maybe one or two bowls of the old Lane left. I should have stocked up on it back then. :-(
