CH is Burley & Virginia whereas PA is Burley & Cavendish.

True ... but what is Cavendish?
Cavendish is more a method to treat tobacco than a type.

I submit the Cavendish in PA is still a Virginia, just slightly sweeter from the processing.
That is also my take on the difference of flavor between the two.

VERY similar with PA being just a tad sweeter. YMMV

I enjoy both PA and CH. My grandfather smoked a lot of CH. I give the slight edge to PA.

almost always add a tub of CH or PA to the monthly order.. great way to bulk up the cellar.
