I am sooooo enthralled with that Burliuk. I come across his work all the time and we have several here and in part one. He must have really loved his pipe. I have never come across a still life of his though, and it's amazing. He names and sets it up as a still life yet the eye is drawn immediately to the activity outside of the window. He even stuck pipes in those guys' mouths.

I like that portrait by Zofia ... It recalls me the style of those painters (and among them there was my grandfather) who worked in Florence between the two world wars.
