Hoping someone can help me ID this pipe. My mentor gave it to me but I dont know what it is. They only writing on it is Italy.

This is a shot in the dark, but I'm guessing maybe a Baraccini. Reason being about 15 years ago I had one similar, but with a rustic texture. It to only said Italy. The stem was a faux military mount (actually had a standard tenon). But really without markings it is only a guess.

That shape along with the stem mount and button shaping looks very Peterson-esque. Can ayone chime in if there were any Petes made in Italy?

It seems many similar pipes were made in Italy. I've got one like yours. The "Wellpipes" found on ebay are copies of copies of Peterson's very popular design.
