I am up for it. I have never been to McGlinchey's. Looks like it earned it's award for one of the top dive bars in Philly.

Yes. It closed down in 2020 permanently it seems.

I just called them and they are open.

I talked with Les today. He said some people were able to band together and reopen. In 2020, the handwritten sign on the door was “out of business.” I’m glad it’s reopened.

I know the area well. Latimer Deli. Walking distance to Holtz Tobacco on Walnut and Rittenhouse Square. Nice area of Center City on that side of Broad Street.

From what I have been told they are trying to find a new location to meet.

Not formally, but they haven't met in years.
I promised to look into moving the club over to McGlinchey's, but haven't done it yet.

Stumbled upon this post while searching for Philadelphia area meetups. I’d be up for monthly meetings as well.

Seems there's interest here, but no one is taking the lead. I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but I'd be happy to start rebooting this as we get closer to spring. That said, I'd also be very happy to stand by and let someone else do it.
