Roasted peanuts and a little oil in a food processor. Takes a while to get smooth, but its the best tasting stuff there is.

I like them all. I want the hydrogenated oils, and whatever else they put in that stuff. Finger lick'in good. :D

Jif. Crunchy with anything but bread, but smooooooth on some bread with honey or jam or jelly. nom nom nom.
When I go natural I go big and get almond butter. That shit is gooooood too.
But nothing replaces the Jif of my childhood. Bring on the cholesterol meds.

Skippy Natural or anything that its main ingredients are peanuts and salt.
I don't need hydrogenated oils, there worse for you than tobacco... lol

fresh ground peanut butter from a Natural Food Store
This is what I go for as well ... I mix the almond and peanut butters 1/2 and 1/2
Also, I prefer PB & Honey over jelly / jam ... on a jalapeno cheese bagel.

To me, as an aficionado of all things peanut, there is a marked difference in taste between American brands like Skippy or Jif and the European domestic brands. I suspect it's in the oils: AFAIK, the former use a percentage of cottonseed oil, the latter rapeseed, sunflower or a combination of both. Stick with the cotton, would be my advise.

If it's just between Jif and Skippy, I'll take Skippy.
If it's peanut butter specifically, I'll go Adams.
If it's nut butters in general, I'll go almond butter over peanut.
In general though, I don't eat a lot of peanut butter except as an ingredient in Asian or African style peanut sauces... :D
