Thank you Gentlemen. I think the black highlights made the look. After smoking it a bit, I am definitely gonna have to try the stem bending deal.

I got it bent, it was really easy. Hardest part was getting of the fear or trying.

Im now beginning to taste a bit of bitterness however. I thought it may have been the fact I cleaned all the cake out. Im now wondering if maybe the stem is sour inside. I put in a stem I knew was fine and smoked a bit. The taste is still there, so it must be the bowl. Maybe a salt treatment? Ive never done that before just read up on it.
Also Ive not seen this used anywhere but apple cider vinegar is a good medicinal product. Vinegar is a mild acid I know. Or what about the opposite, baking soda, an alkaline and said great to remove odors in the frig, pet smell from carpets. A new thread might be in order here I suppose.
