I've made many visits to their shop in Rome, just half a block away from the Trevi Fountain. I don't believe that Becker-Musico pipes are still being made since Paolo went on his own, but pipes are still being made on the premises. The Becker-Musico pipes, in addition to being fine smokers, are truly works of art, as Brad's new acquisition amply illustrates. Enjoy your new treasure, Brad.
By the way, the shop is my ideal of what a B&M should be. There are micro-areas with 3 or 4 comfortable easy chairs clustered around a small end table with several tins of tobacco. The idea is: sit down, relax, fill your pipe with one of our tobaccos, and puff away. Wander around the shop. There's absolutely no pressure to buy. If you see something you like, let one of the staff know, and he'll happily show it to you. It's a great experience. Brad, how you found that pipe in a shop in Virginia must be a tale in itself. Again, enjoy your new pipe, my friend.
