NJFPS meets 2nd Thursday of the Month

The New Jersey Fellowship of Pipe Smokers will be at JR Cigars in Whippany NJ (RT 10 East) this Thursday Aug 14th from 6-9 PM.

JR's is an easy trip off RT 287 for those of you who have never been there.

I stop by JR Cigars in Whippany with some frequency, where this club meets. In the past few years,my trips have never coincided with the NJFPS monthly meeting. But tonight, the stars aligned and I was finally able to enjoy an evening with the group and I was able to meet Liz, who I also know from other forums. I left Maryland this morning, without this club meeting on my mind and stuck one Kaywoodie and a few ounces of MM965 in my single bag. Not exactly pipe club equipped, I was made to feel quite welcome by the group. They had a fun Halloween trivia contest - that I won! If you are in this area of NJ, definitely check out this group and shop. Thanks Liz and the crew!

It is always nice to have guests join us. Glad you had a good time, thanks for posting some pics. Should have spun that C&D tin around, the Jack O'Lantern is sitting on a tin of Haunted Bookshop, of course.
