About a week and a half ago I placed my first order with Pipe Divan. My pipe arrived today and I couldn't be happier so far...haven't smoked it yet. It's a Chacom Renard 185 1st Edition.
The reasons I chose this particular pipe.
I wanted another Chacom.

I prefer straight pipes.

The amber colored stem.

It's a collaboration between Chacom and James Fox.

Availability exclusive to James Fox and Pipe Divan.

It's a 1st Edition of the Chacom Renard series.

Reasonable price.

The Renard name. Renard in French translate to Fox and the apartment my wife and I rented in Paris last September was on Rue du Renard (Fox Street). Kind of a silly reason I guess.

Outstanding piece of briar. I love the stem ring. It has a certain flair to it that really pops. Congrats!!

That is one fine looking pipe. I'm a huge fan of a classic straight billiard. Also love the stem, and that accent ring is very unique. I'd be proud to show that one off. Looks like it could be a cousin of the Peterson Rosslare Royal Irish I just bought (Also my first purchase from Pipe Divan). Enjoy!

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. Now I have to decide what blend to smoke in it.
