I was visiting a friend for the holidays and one of his decorative pieces in the house was this metal churchwarden pipe with a whimsical elephant head bowl with windscreen top.
I don't know anything about it, but thought it woulkd be cool to share with the pipe community here.
I Googled metal churchwarden pipe, but didn't find much.

That's pretty neat looking. Reminds me of a nargila(hookah, water pipe, hubbly-bubbly etc)

Very cool Kevin. Thanks for sharing. My father in-law had one very similar. He brought it back from Egypt.

Hi All,
It's a most unusual pipe. Do you think it was actually made for tobacco? Could it have started off life as an opiumpipe?
Either way it's a beautiful artefact
