Just wanted to let you know about an event the Los Angeles Pipe Club is having, Thursday, 12/10/15, and a raffle we're having to benefit Heifer International.
This Thursday night, at 7pm, we'll be having a Pipes & Pints night at the Verdugo Bar, here in Los Angeles, in the Glassell Park neighborhood. The Verdugo is one of the oldest bars in Los Angeles, and, as such, you can still smoke in their Beer Garden/Patio (which is pretty big). We'll be starting the festivities around 7pm, and there will be door prizes, and, best of all, we will be selling raffle tickets to benefit Heifer International--Our goal is to raise $5000 to sponsor an Ark to help needy families provide self reliance through raising livestock to help their communities. Our raffle currently has prizes from some of the best pipe makers around, as well as other prizes of accessories (one of which, will be from yours truly), pipe tobacco, cigars, and swag. We'll also be doing a White Elephant gift exchange for all those who would like to participate (see LAPC's website for more details, below). All proceeds go to Heifer International and the raffle ends on December 24th at 12 Noon, PST (drawing will be at 4pm) and you can buy tickets at the Pipes & Pints event, or, at LosAngelesPipeClub.Org Anyone can enter and the winner will be announced on Los Angeles Pipe Club's website on Christmas Eve.
