@simong and I just got this fairly large collection of Murray's era Dunhill tins (with a couple of others). I think I speak for both of us when I say I look forward to smoking my way through this lot!

Yeah, the painted tins are much nicer than the paper sticker ones! Although hopefully the tobacco inside is the same - I believe the paper sticker ones that still say 'Made in the UK under the authority of...' are from the very end of Murray's production (I have some other Murray's tins from the very early 2000s that have very similar labels). Certainly when I was buying STG-produced Dunhill tins they read 'Made in the EU...'.Well done, England! I’m sure the tobaccos are great but what’s catching my eye are the painted tins and those tall tins. They’re beauts!
Hooray for the British! ️England 1 - Rest Of The World - 0

Fair to say it’s been ‘slim pickings’ for us boys in recent years. All the vintage tins being swept up by the fat cats from foreign shores.
Nice to get that feeling of a ‘home win’ again!

Well it won’t be the football Ronaldo, you’re quite right there. Won’t be the cricket either……rugby’s looking a bit dodgy too! lolIt's coming home?
*and by "it" I guess I mean a Murray era Dunhill tin...
Quite right, forgot about that one! Lol@simong : I believe the technical term is 'Rear Admirals' in the trade!
