This is the CTC machine used to Blacken tobacco to make Black Cavendish

This is a Separator which separates the cut sizes.

Conveyor onto the separator.

Rotary Dryer, once the leaf is cut this dries it down to the proper moisture.

What a fantastic thread! I got a kick out of reading about the tour and seeing the pics.
I tried my first Sutliff blend the other night, No. 5, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I'll be adding a couple tins to my December order for sure.

Say, are you a journalist? Enviable post, really an article. I'm a fan of Sutliff, Molto Dolce a standard on my admittedly modest collection of tobacco, but the aroma is intoxicating.
