Identification of a pipe filter

Hello everyone,

I've aquired a pipe. The stem contains a filter that seems to be permanently attached. Although I have already cleaned the pipe (salt-alcohol deep cleaning), I am uncertain whether or not I can remove the filter (the white piece in the picture) without the application of force. Additionally, the narrow mouth of the pipe makes it impossible for a pipe cleaner to fit through. In such a situation, I am inquiring about the recommended daily cleaning procedure. Your advice is greatly appreciated.

It looks to me like a 9mm paper and charcol disposable filter that maybe got stuck and someone put a hole in it. If you soak the stem in water it will probably just fall apart.

Not yet. Still very solid after like 10 hours.

Maybe a filter adapter? Try plyers

I will wait a bit more. The material of that filter is strange, it is very solid, I am afraid the pliers could brake the stem now.

If you've soaked it for 10 hours it's not a paper filter

Could that be some sort of meerschaum insert? I’ve never seen such a thing, but it could be permanently attached

What kind of pipe is it? It could be a bone tenon extension.

After 24 hours the piece is still very solid. The brand is as per the picture below.
