Heading over seas

I'll be heading to latvia in a few weeks and I'm going to make sure to try and find a tobacco shop of some kind while I'm there . Since I am new to this hobby I don't know if there is something that I should be really looking for while I'm there any suggestion ???

Besides the women?! Baltic ladies are wonderful.
Other than that, beware of cheap pipes - especially anything with tin in the bowl.

Maybe you can find some tobacco that you don't see here in the states.

+1 on the Baltic women, don't be shy!! I haven't been there since the mid 90's and vaguely remember any tobacco products there except cigarettes. But then again I wasn't exactly a tourist there for shopping.

Of course Ill check out the ladies but I was thinking on the lines of tobacco or pipes that are hard to get in the states but maybe to so hard over there

I don't know where you're traveling from, but right now it's probably difficult to find anywhere that exceeds the selection and price in the U.S., so it might just be one or several blends that would be a unique find.
