I'm at some point with my search engine Safari where it blocks various sites including SP and Iwan Ries, though I can still get PC, 4noggins, and others. Probably I've hit the wall on updates and have to pay up for correctives, Safari 10.8 -- so it will be a lot of conferring and fiddling, and never complete satisfaction. Young folks (and some tech minded old folks) just regard this as a wonderful puzzle, and they tinker around and get what they want anyway (and actually in a very limited way, so do I). But being a non-techy minded guy of a certain age, it's sort of humiliating and insulting rather than a nifty challenge. Without gruesome details, I will assert my introduction to computers was really awful, first at work, and later at home, including state attorney generals forcing a company to pay us (class action) back for a mega rip-off. So I had a long course of aversion therapy -- I'm lucky to be online at all. I still prefer written letters!
The reject by Safari just says it cannot make a secure connection. Even just signing on, I get that, but then Google in email, pipesmag, etc.
