Thank you to all vets past and present.

There has not been a veterans day where I have not broke down and cried for the friends I've lost, for my father, God rest his soul, and for all of those brave men and women who have served, and are now serving.

Thanks to you sailorjeremy. Do HM's still train at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego? I trained

at the Nav Sta there as a radioman (not even a rating anymore). Boot camp there is gone. As is

the Long Beach Naval Sta where my ship was homeported and the Midway Island Nav Sta, which

is now under the Dept of Interior. It seems I closed every place I served. My ship is still in service,

but with the Taiwan navy!

HM school was recently moved to San Antonio. I was one of the last few classes to go through the school in Great Lakes in 2010.
