It was 2 weeks ago that our fellow forum member Jim (aka scrooge) was offering some free samples of tobacco. I asked for one and after travelling half of the world the box landed in my country. I received a notification yesterday in the morning and during the lunch break I managed to go to pick up the goodies. I didn't have enough time so I just opened the box, took a glance and was already in shock. He sent not only some (actually turned out to be a lot) samples but also a pouch and 2 boxes of tobacco. I couldn't open the Ziploc bag until I got home. When I opened it, that was another surprise; samples 10 different aged tobacco blends. Here is the photo and the list of the baccy:

- Carter Hall - I wanted to try this blend but never had a chance to buy.

- Mixture 79 - I have an unopened pouch of this, always wanted to try but didn't want to open another pouch until I finished other open blends and samples. I will give it a try, if not liked I will give both of them to a pipe smoking friend of mine that smokes literally everything :)

- Five Brothers - never tried.

- Luxury Twist Flake 2014 - my personal favorite, never had a chance to try an aged one.

- CAO - Eileen's Dream - never tried.

- Frog Morton 2014 - never tried.

- Brebbia Balkan 2012 - never tried.

- Chatham Manor 2014 - my personal favorite VA/Bur after Erinmore Flake.

- London Mixture 2014 - always wanted to try but never had a chance.

- Royal Yacht 2013 - never had a chance to try an aged one.

- Solani 633 2012 - heard a lot, never had a chance to try.

- Black Frigate - hearing a lot recently, never had a chance to try.

- Night Train 2013 - never tried.
Apparently, scrooge is not a scrooge but a generous person. I really appreciate it as it is impossible to find any pipe tobacco where I live. I cannot thank you enough Jim.

Totally agree. I don't have any aged tobacco as I have been smoking for a year and I mostly purchase to sample different blends. However, I will try find a way to pay back for sure.
