First Ebay Pipe

Hello all,
I decided to set up an ebay account and purchase my first ebay pipe. Which is a poker, my first poker also - I saw how great all you Americans look with them, so I had to join the club too :: (sorry for image size - perhaps somone could tell me how to decrease its size)

I believe the pipe maker is Alexander Zawos. I haven't smoked any of his pipes before, but it seems he has a high aproval rating.
It has a filter, but I just tend to remove those things and smoke them as if they were non filter pipes. ::

Why are pokers in such demand right now. Those things are way overpriced compared to other shapes on ebay and there always a shark feeding frenzy toward the end of there auctions while other shapes by the same makers are slower moving and much less expensive. Think I'll wait till some other shape is the flavor of the month, then add some nice pokers.
