You did a yeoman's job, LMF. I like the original stain more but that's just me. The grain now screams and I could shave by that mouthpiece.

Beautiful restore. I've always had a soft spot for the shape as it is similar to my first good pipe, which was gifted to me many years ago.

Wow, someone really smoked that pipe hard, an amazing transformation (and saved all the valuable nomenclature). I guess removing those blisters required the restain. A beautiful piece!

One thing I've come to love about those Dunhill stems is that no matter how ugly they get from age, with a little elbow grease, they polish up like a gem. Makes me anxious to start looking for my next one to clean up :)
