Title edited for caps and brevity.

I have a savinelli dry system 1611 pipe which I find is a good size bowl. I like everything about pipe except for the stem. Mainly the shape of the stem and the size of the bit.
I am thinking of replacing it with a Peterson standard replacement stem but I am wondering if the stem would fit

I like the Sav dry system stem a lot better easier to clench with nice wider button. If you are bent on the conversion then make sure the tenon will take the balsa filter unless you want to eliminate same.

I would suggest sending an email to Smokingpipes.com and asking them the circumference of the replacement stem. The measure the circumference of the Sav stem to compare before buying.
I know my Savinelli 2614KS dry stem fits in my Peterson Xl339S and my Erica 302 but I do not believe the reverse is true. Good Luck.
