I personally think it's a great starter kit for the price. I bought one when they first hit the market, and I loved it. It includes some recipes to help you get started and help give you an idea of some of your own blends. It really simplifies things and each recipe is only for 10 grams (or 0.35 ounces) but doubling, tripling, etc the recipe is easy enough. Play around with it a few times and soon enough you'll be crafting your own original blends. Basically everything you need to get started is included... I'm still amazed how they thought to include a beard guard... I mean, who thinks of that? haha. Well worth the purchase in my opinion.
