No other way to go but an MM-Cob, but then have our Uncle A make

I seems to be anonymous.
Absolutely buy a MM Cob and get you a good stem for it...

Uncle Arthur can make you a good one.

And, there are others available.

I've got one of them Chinese cobs, they're quite awful. M&M makes great cobs, though, but as people have mentioned if you're a heavy clencher the stem will easily be bitten through after some use. Speaking of, I need a new stem for mine, how much are yours, UA?

You might want to read both my Cob Primer and Buyers Guide.

I got one of those Chinese cobs for $4 and poked a hole right through the bottom of it with my pipe nail. That was a real quality pipe right there!

Anything other than Missouri Meerschaum is a gamble. But a few of MM's models don't have hard wood plugs, so you need to use a lighter hand when using a pipe tool pick on them.

Only one of my MM cobs has a wood plug, but they are all WAY more solid than that Chinese piece of junk!

I'm not allowed to buy any more pipes for myself so i bought a non pipe smoker friend of mine a cob and he LOVES it. He fell in love with it. The son of a gun smoked a cob BEFORE me. I'm jealous of him. Cobs rule.
