Well, it dropped a couple degrees here in South Texas. Cool enough I had to break out my beanie! I feel like Robert Duvall in Second Hand Lions. (Only a few years younger.)

Those pesky weather systems ...
We we're enjoying a comfy, if windy, upper 60's in northern Chicago. After a brief bout of rain, the temp dropped twenty degrees in the evening. Turned a Virginia day into a Lat-bomb night. :puffy:

The CO mountains got 4-8" of snow on Nov 17; we got 6" in the Front Range Foothills outside of Denver. Then it got into the upper 50's the next day & melted all except the snow in deep shade.

More snow expected next Tuesday & again one week later.

Winter is late this year (Al Gore must be lurking somewhere nearby). Usually we have 1-3 decent snow storms by this time. A few years there have been 2'-4' snowfalls in Oct.

Most ski areas have delayed opening by 1-2 weeks; some may not be open for Thanksgiving.
I'm hoping to get dumped upon soon, a lot, & often. My two large white Malamute-mix dogs demand it.
