Brothers of the Briar comes to my mind.
This is all encompassing cob or meer or briar, IMHO.

However; I don't believe it to be descriptive of a group or pipe smokers enjoying a bowl together...
I like Arthur's... But, a repose of pipers, is in a like vein to "herd of turtles" or, my personal favorite and not exactly PC.... "Sack of cats" as in "noisy as a...." :D

Sorry cat lovers... It's just a joke.

I would think when referring to a group of of people smoking pipes together we could refer to it as the "Haze of enlightenment"
+1 on the Pipemen (or Pipe Madam for the ladies among us)
