Cleaning On A Cold Sunday

I gathered a few of the pipes I smoke the most for a good cleaning. As I cleaned each one, I thought of times of quiet reflection and simple pleasure each has given me. Of a the ways to enjoy the leaf none seems to give as much to the senses as the pipe.
