Not so much of a review and maybe should be elsewhere. Does anybody else get a sour milk note when opening a tin, for those of you that have worked with red oak, it has that sour almost pissy smell to it. Doesn't seem to translate to the smoke, but it did almost turn me off of trying it. I do get a bit of a red oak taste in it periodically, at least olfactory-wise.
