Bringing tobacco overseas

Hi All,
We plan on flying to Costa Rica and I was hoping to bring a tin of pipe tobacco, some pipes and a few cigars. Do you know of any legislation that prohibits me from brining them into CR or brining it back to the US afterward? I would like to enjoy my pipe by the pool on a nice evening!

I've not heard of any prohibitions on tobacco for personal use (limited quantities). Maybe others who are better traveled than I may know of problems in some areas, but there are none to my knowledge.
