Recently opened some Bayou Morning that had aged a little over a year. Wow, a year made a big difference with this blend. The Virginia was sweeter and had a much fuller flavor than when fresh and the perique had settled down a bit.

A really nice smoke.

Anyone else like this blend?

Bayou Morning is one of my favorites ... having experienced what aging does for cigars, I'm looking forward to letting some of my best pipe tobaccos age for that sort of time ...

I tried it and found it harsh, so it may be that the aging brings out the mellowness

and sweetness.

I didnt like Bayou Morning when I first tried it but after aging its a wonderful blend. I have found in my experience most C&D blends come very young especially when bought in bulk. I really enjoy my Bayou Morning with almost 2 years on it and many have commented on liking its room note. I would like too hear if others have had the same experience?
