Altinay Meershaum - One Year Later

Good morning and happy Easter to you all.

We have a beautiful sonny morning here in Denmark, so it's gonna be a good day.

I realized, that my Altinay rusticated billard silver spigot now has "lived" with me for a year - and I will celebrate that with some pictures.

I forgot to take a picture, when it arrived, but here is the pipe after one week



Here is the pipe today - one year later



It's one of my favorite pipes. It smokes like a dream and I'm looking forward to many more years with good smokes in the Altinay.

Very nice pipe, and great coloring!

In my experience the bowls don't typically color that well, if at all, in just a year.

I have three other meershaums and none of these are colouring so nice and quickly as this one.
I gues I have been lucky

I can't tell you exactly, but my best guess will be around 400. One bowl a day and a few days two bowls.

Yes, they color very nice. It's my experience, that they color faster than the smooth ones.

400 bowls I'm so far from that with my Altinay Bulldog I just hit like 77 or 78 i don't have my count in front of me but 400 seems like it will take forever to get to
